Devon County Team
Both the Devon Premier and A team participate in the Inter-County Championships. These squads are picked by the County Team Manager and the A Team Manager. If players feel they would like to have a chance of being considered to represent Devon then a form can be downloaded here.
Both teams start in a round robin with
Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset Teams play each other home and away. At
the end of the round robin stage the top two teams qualify for the
main inter-county championships knock out stage.
This year both Devon teams are participating in the ICC Rinks competition where four rinks are selected and they play rinks from other counties, with Devon Premier aiming to retain the title they won last year. Both Devon Premier and A topped their qualifying group and will participate in finals day in January.
After the group stage the Devon Premier Team topped the group and faced Norfolk in the quarter-finals where they were beaten 32-8. The Devon A team however finished 3rd in their group and failed to qualify for the main knockout stage.
